veg platter


1) முட்டைக்கோஸ் தேங்காய் சாதம் - கோஸை சுத்தம் செய்து சுடு தண்ணீரில் முக்கி எடுத்து மிக்ஸியில் அரிசி சாதம் போல் ஒரு சுத்து சுத்தி வெண்ணெய்யில் வதக்கி கொள்ளவும்.. பின் தேங்காய் சாதம் செய்வதற்கு தயார் செய்வது போல் செய்து அதில் முட்டைக்கோஸை பிரட்டிக் கொள்ளவும்.

2) பிரக்கோலி , காளிஃபிளவர் மசாலா - இரண்டு பூவையும் உப்பு கலந்த சுடுத்தண்ணீரில் போட்டு வைத்து கொள்ளவும். வாணலியில் எண்ணெய் ஊற்றி சீரகம், சுத்தம் செய்த காய்கறி, உப்பு, மசாலா பொருட்கள் அனைத்தும் சேர்த்து வேக வைத்து பிரட்டிக் கொள்ளவும்

3) வெண்டைக்காய் ரோஸ்ட் - நீள வாக்கில் கீரல் போட்ட முழு வெண்டைக்காயில் தயிர் 2 ஸ்பூன், மசாலா பொடி ( மிளகாய் தூள், மஞ்சள் தூள், மல்லித்தூள், உப்பு, சீரகத்தூள்) கலந்த கலவையை உள்ளே பூசி தோசைக்கல்லில் வெண்ணெய் தடவி வறுத்துக் கொள்ளவும்,

4) கேரட் அல்வா - சர்க்கரை, பாதாம், சேர்க்காமல் 2 கேரட்டை துருவி வதக்கி நன்கு வெந்தப்பிறகு நெய் 1 ஸ்பூன் ஊற்றி சுருண்டு வரும்போது ஏலக்காய்த் தூள் ஒரு சிட்டிகை சேர்த்துக் கிளறி இறக்கவும்.

5) மஷ்ரூம் சூப் - மஷ்ரூம் வெண்ணெய்யில் வதக்கி வேகவைத்து அரைத்து இன்னொரு வாணலியில் பட்டை, நறுக்கிய பூண்டு, வெண்ணெய் வதக்கி அரைத்த விழுதை தண்ணீருடன் சேர்த்து உப்பு போட்டு கொதிக்க விட்டு தேங்காய் பால், மிளகுத்தூள், கொத்தமல்லி இலை சேர்த்து இறக்கவும்.

குக்கரில் 4 நன்கு பழுத்த முழு தக்காளி, 2 பூண்டு, அரை பெரிய வெங்காயம் கால் டம்ளர் தண்ணீர் ஊற்றி ஒரு விசில் வந்ததும் இறக்கவும். ஆறியதும் மைய்யாக அரைத்துக் கொள்ளவும். அரை டம்ளர் அளவுக்கு கெட்டியான தேங்காய் பால் எடுத்துக்கொள்ளவும்.
பன்னீரை (200 கி) மிகவும் பொடி பொடியாக நறுக்கி வைக்கவும். 
வாணலியில் எண்ணெய் ஊற்றி காய்ந்ததும் பன்னீர், வெங்காயம் சேர்த்து வதக்கவும். சீரகத்தூள், மிளகாய்த்தூள், கரம் மசாலா, மஞ்சள் தூள்( அனைத்தையும் தலா கால் ஸ்பூன்) சேர்த்து உப்பு போட்டு பிரட்டிக் கொள்ளவும்.
தனியாக இன்னொரு வாணலியில் வெண்ணெய் அல்லது எண்ணெய் ஊற்றி கஸ்தூரி மேத்தி ஒரு ஸ்பூன் ( கைவசம் இருந்தால்) , அரை ஸ்பூன் சீரகம், தக்காளி விழுதை சேர்த்து நன்கு கொதிக்க விட்டு அதில்
மிளகாய்த்தூள் அரை ஸ்பூன், மல்லித்தூள் கால் ஸ்பூன் போட்டு தண்ணீர் கொஞ்சம் ஊற்றி கொதிக்க விடவும்.. வற்றியதும் தேங்காய்ப்பால் ஊற்றி வற்றி வரும்போது பன்னீர் கலவையை சேர்த்து பிரட்டிக் கொள்ளவும்.
கைப்பிடி கொத்தமல்லி தூவி இறக்கவும்..
அப்படியே சாப்பிடலாம் அல்லது மிக்ஸியில் ஒரு சுத்து சுத்தி சட்னியாகவும் , தனியாகவும் சாப்பிடலாம்.. இவ்வாறு சட்னி செய்து கொண்டால் காளிப்பிளவர் சாதத்திற்கு பிரட்டிக் கொள்ளலாம், பேலியோ தோசை, ஆம்லெட்டிற்கு
தொட்டுக் கொள்ளலாம். பிற பேலியோ காய்கறிகளை அளவாக எடுத்து நறுக்கி வெண்ணெய்யில் வதக்கி இதில் கலந்தும் சாப்பிடலாம்.

வடச்சட்டியில் தேங்காய் எண்ணெய் ஊற்றி கடுகு வெடித்ததும் கறிவேப்பிலை பச்சமிளகாய்,பெருங்காயத்தூள் , பன்னீர்,தேவையான உப்பு சேர்த்து மிதமான சூட்டில் லேசா வதக்கவும்.வதக்கியதை தயிரில் கலக்கவும்.சுவையான தயிர் சாதம் ரெடி.



THIRIKADUHA RASAM






 Dhaniya 1tsp,channa dal 1tsp,milahu(acc to your karam),jeera 1/2 tsp,Chukku ( dry ginger) 1 small piece,Kandathippili stick 1no,coconut oru 3 to 4 pieces.First crush chukku.Add little ghee in kadai roast all the above ING except coconut.Grind above all to very fine smooth paste by adding water.Take nellikai size puli.Nanna karaichundu add haldi,hing,salt,jaggery and chopped tomato..allow to boil .When raw smell leaves add this ground paste.Add water to adjust.Allow to boil.Thaluchufy and garnish.

Mumbai, November 21th, 2016: Emotions ran high at the Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice 2016, as heroes Combatting Terrorism were honoured for their contribution to the cause. Hosted on 20th November, Sonam Kapoor, renowned Bollywood actress, accepted award on behalf of Neerja Bhanot.

Instituted in the year 2005, the Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice has acknowledged the tireless efforts of individuals and enterprises across the world towards promoting peace, harmony and social justice.

Sonam Kapoor – renowned Bollywood actor said, “I’m honoured to be here and to receive the Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice on behalf of the very brave, courageous and selfless Neerja Bhanot. Its been an absolute prestige and blessing to portray her and I truly believe each one of us must imbibe the values that she stood for and personified.“

Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Abraham Mathai, President Harmony Foundation said, “Over years, our endeavor has been to inspire humanity through the exemplary acts and sacrifices of those among us. And this year’s awardees give me the hope that our mission will be kept alive. With every passing year, we see touching stories of bravery and compassion, and we all pray that the valiant efforts of our heroes to spread the message of peace do not go in vain. Our heroes of this year including 20-year old Pakistani boy Faraaz Hossain reaffirms our faith that bravery and compassion have no age or religion. We sincerely believe that stories such as his will encourage a lot more of us to open our minds.”

The Award ceremony was accompanied by a Conference on Combatting Terrorism which drew views from all the top leaders in attendance.



About Mother Teresa Memorial International Awards: The Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice which is currently in its 12th year was instituted in the year 2005 in the memory of Mother Teresa who was canonized a Saint by Pope Francis in the Vatican on September 4th 2016 and is the only one endorsed by Sr.Prema, the Superior General of the Missionaries of Charity, Kolkata. Raw Honey to sweeten taste(optional )
Nut milk optional
Preparation:

oil all.... Make sure you allow time for the tea to cool down afterwards. Drink 12 ounces of the tea in the morning, lunch, afternoon and evening – you can sweeten it with organic honey or stevia if the taste is too strong for you. Don’t eat any highly refined processed foods, only raw foods such as organic fruits and vegetables while you are cleansing with this tea.
You can expect the first results in a couple of days, and you should lose several pounds of fat within a week

As I entered the restaurant, I felt it quite cozy and welcoming.

ANANYA BIRLA LAUNCHES HER DEBUT INTERNATIONAL SINGLE “LIVIN’ THE LIFE” ON UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP

It was a glitzy Saturday evening filled with melodious, peppy music as Ananya Birla, the 22-year-old daughter of industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla and philanthropist Neerja Birla, launched her debut international single, ‘Livin’ the life’, at a grand event on the lawns of the Taj Lands End hotel in Bandra (W). The track — a mix of pop and EDM — mixed by Dutch DJ Afrojack, has Ananya as the co-writer and composer with American producer Jim Beanz.

Ananya Birla, well-known in India as a leading innovator enters a new phase of her life as she launches her debut International single “Livin’ the life”. The 22-year old has been exclusively signed by leading record label, Universal Music Group. The major has launched Ananya’s musical career with the release of the single “Livin’ the life” now available globally through its network. 


At a glittering evening in Mumbai on Saturday, Ananya Birla’s single was launched amidst a host of celebrities and some exciting entertainment! Featuring Illusionists, street dancers and even a sand artist, Ananya Birla made her sensational debut performance on stage, belting out her single “Livin’ the Life”.

Ananya says that she wouldn’t want to focus solely on Bollywood right now.

The highly infectious and up-tempo pop / dance single is produced and co-written by Internationally acclaimed music producer Jim Beanz who has previously worked with global superstars Nelly Furtado Cheryl Cole, Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo to name a few.  “Livin’ the life” was recorded at Sunset Sound Studio, Pennsylvania.


Says ANANYA “With Livin’ the life, I am following my dream. I’ve always loved music, and making music. The song is about finding who you are, because I believe that only by doing that, will you find happiness. For me I discovered I needed to try to spread love to others. For other people it might mean something else – playing football or looking at the sea. I believe that if you discover who you are really are, you can overcome any challenge.”

With love for music since childhood, Ananya has been inspired by a number of International artists such as Ed Sheeran, The Fray, Cheryl Cole, Eminem, AR Rahman and Coldplay. Her debut single “Livin’ the life” features a strong point of view for those who walk through life seeking their own true path. The song demonstrates Ananya’s drive, creativity, passion to help others overcome challenges. She and Beanz collaborated on the single over the past year and recorded it at a studio in Philadelphia. Beanz has previously worked with international pop stars Nelly Furtado, Cheryl Cole and Demi Lovato. Saturday’s launch event kicked off with graffiti artists making hearts, peace signs and musical notes on one side of the lawn, as a number of dancers ran simultaneously towards an expansive stage, grooving to a peppy number. While their entry was accompanied by fireworks and theatrical fog, within minutes, the star of the evening appeared on two big screens put up on the stage. “Music is my magic,” Ananya said in a video that showcased her love for music.

Soon after, as her proud parents looked on, Ananya descended on the stage on a platform to the cheers of the crowd that had Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan, Sohail Khan, Dino Morea, Sooraj Pancholi, Afrojack and Beanz, among others. She then joined the dancers and led a spellbinding performance on the new single. Speaking to Hindustan Times before the performance, Ananya spelt out her long-term music plans, saying she wouldn’t want to focus solely on Bollywood right now, but does not mind working with composers from the Hindi film industry in the future.
And how does she plan to do that? Ananya will give people “access to music platforms” through her organisation, One. Ask the University of Oxford alumni about her collaboration with Beanz, and she says, “I met him through the record label [Universal Music Group] that signed me. I was familiar with his work. But when we met, we really got along. He has been incredibly supportive about my creative freedom, and he really understands me. He also made me feel really comfortable in the studio.” Beanz had words of appreciation for Ananya, too. Addressing the gathering, he said Ananya has “all the makings of a star”. As I landed up there , the food portions and presentation and  setup that would grab your attention in no-time.

With too many dishes making their way to the table, So it was an almost perfect night with breezy air, lovely Bollywood numbers and tasty food. 


After some chaat over a chat, the must tries were the delicacies  are finger chips  “heaven on earth” is the phrase each  fanatic would utter seeing the dishes.
